MIA CANCELS TOUR!!!

MIA cancelled her tour this morning and all upcoming dates for fear of losing her mind. She claims that being on tour takes a lot out of you and she has been working so hard that she doesn’t want to lose her sense of reality.

Now the average person who read this post probably said something to themselves like “aww suck it up man” but for a person who understands what musicians go through on the road (I mean I’ve never been on tour but I’ve seen like a zillion documentaries about it) then I have to  sympathize with MIA’s weired ass. She says that she makes club music so touring is like going to the club every night for six months. Now when you think about it that way…it all makes so much sense.

I feel sorry for the old boy bands and Rock hair bands that used to tour for like two years non-stop (no exaggeration). Some would tour every state in America, shoot out to Europe, then Asia, then back to America to do about ten more gigs. Sounds glamorous huh? Not when you’re on the road 40 weeks out of the year.
