Puppies on the way

(mediatakeout) Rumor has it that rapper Bow Wow and Karrine “Superhead” Steffans have a baby on the way. There has been much speculation of the two “gettin it on” for some time now and a video surfaced on her myspace page this weekend where she hints at expecting a new one. Hey…who am I to judge…well I’m the Listener lol. All I have to say to B Dub is homeboy…if you’ve found love…run with it…but I hope you have a pre-nup and a good book deal real talk homie.

KJ not so charitable

(AP) Former NBA superstar Kevin Johnson was caught stealing money from a local charity. According to AP “A nonprofit run by mayoral candidate and former NBA star Kevin Johnson used AmeriCorps grants to pay volunteers to engage in school-board political activities, run personal errands for Johnson and even wash his car, federal investigators say.

The findings from an agency that oversees the grants were sent to federal prosecutors and listed in a letter to Johnson dated Wednesday that also says he will be prohibited from receiving federal money while the investigation is under way. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the letter Friday.”

What’s with NBA players effin up after they retire? What David Stern isn’t giving out more commentary jobs these days? I was with dude until he has his car washed. I mean c’mawn we’d be stupid to believe that all charitable funds go where they are needed…the people who need the charity don’t even believe that s*it.

Oprah teams up with Disney for new movie

(Fan Fare) Oprah Winfery will be lending her voice to a new Disney movie set in Jazz age New Orleans. According to fan fare “In “The Princess and the Frog,” which is set for release in late 2009, Winfrey will play the mother of the main character Princess Tiana, who in turn will be voiced by “Dreamgirls” star Anika Noni Rose.The talk show queen has a dozen acting credits in her career, including voice work for  last year’s “Bee Movie.”
