The Listener 2.0

Master P was recently named youth ambassador to the NAACP, a position formerly held by President Bill Clinton. The New Orleans rapper/producer/entrepreneur/Charlotte Hornets bench warmer also founded Take A Stand records, a record label that only releases positive music.

This is so cool (even though I may be late). I read it in the new Ebony Black Music Issue. I’m proud of Master P for his positive efforts. He’s come a long way from my eighth grade No Limit days (yes I was a fan) when “Make em say Ughhhhh” was on V100 every 3-5 minutes. I remember he signed like his whole damn family (play cousins and all) to the label and they eventually…well you know what happened lol.

Anyway keep on doing what you’re doing Mr. Miller. It’s great not only for your family but for the black community as well.
